Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh made the supreme sacrifice to accelerate the pace of India’s freedom struggle and today, all Indians is irrespective of caste, colour or creed stand fully committed to his ideals, so said Dr. Ali Abbas, Chairperson of the department of Urdu, Panjab University, Chandigarh at a function to mark his 115th birth anniversary here today.
While paying rich tribute, Dr. Ali Abbas said that Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh was a great visionary, a dynamic revolutionary and a committed freedom fighter who scarified his life at the altar of motherland’s emancipation from a foreign yoke. “Bhagat Singh’s is a household name and a legendary personality continue to inspire every Indian’s mind and heart.” Dr. Ali Abbas added.
