The Digital Safety Club of GGDSD College organised an Inter college Video making competition on the theme ‘Know Your Cyber Responsibility’ in collaboration with Chandigarh Police and Centre for Social Research, New Delhi. Dr.Ajay Sharma, Principal of GGDSD College, Dr.Madhu Sharma, Vice Principal and Dr.Rupinder Aulakh, Coordinator of Digital Safety Club welcomed the Chief guest Sh.Ketan Bansal,Superintendent of Police. DSP Sh. A Venkatesh and Inspector Ranjit Singh also graced the event with their presence.
The event was hosted by Ms. Rupam Mahipal. Various students from different colleges participated. The winners were awarded cash prizes. The Digital Safety Club interns pinned posters through out the campus to create awareness about digital safety.
Sh. Ketan Bansal interacted with the students and laid emphasis on cyber hygiene laws.
The Centre for Social Research joined the event through digital medium. They made the students conscious about digital safety.
The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Purnima Kapoor.
