Panjab University, Chandigarh bags Prestigious Indo-Japan Exchange Project
Panjab University has been selected for The Inter-University Exchange Project initiative of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS-MEXT). Under the Ministry of Education, Japan; the project entails strengthening the global development of university education by providing liberal financial support for collaborative programs with acclaimed universities worldwide.
The programme involves exchange of students and faculty, collaborative research projects, organising seminars and workshops.
Panjab University has been selected after rigorous screening process to partner with the Yokohama National University, Japan. Prof Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University has been instrumental in providing the leadership role in developing the proposal and ensuring its fructification.
The project will be coordinated by Prof Hideaki Yoshitake, Yokohama National University, Japan and Prof Anupama Sharma, Dr SSB UICET, Panjab University, Chandigarh
