अगर तीस साल पहले चंडीगढ़ में सफ़ेदे की जगह चन्दन या कोई और बहुमूल्य पेड़ लगाये जाते तो कितना मूल्य मिलता। आज बीस साल पुराने सफ़ेदे का पेड़ काटने पर महज बीस से तीस हज़ार मिलते हैं।और ये देखें चन्दन का मूल्य। एक करोड़। आज ही शहर में चन्दन लगाएँ और बीस साल बाद लाखों कमायें।
I have a personal mission of my life to get one lakh Sandalwood or other high value trees planted in or around Chandigarh for the benefit of next generation. Sandal is the most expensive tree on the earth. I procure one truck of Ten Thousand Sandal plants every year from Mysore for distribution to city residents and city Schools and parks free of cost.
Please collect your one free plant from my residence at 387, Sector 30A Chandigarh. Every School can also have a Chandan Vatika by planting 21 Chandan trees.
