(e-Services by Chandigarh Housing Board)
The Chandigarh Housing Board is in the process of providing all its services through Online Mode. The main objective is to enable the applicants to apply online from their homes and get the timely services without visiting the office of Chandigarh Housing Board.
Today a workshop was organized in the Board Room of the Chandigarh Housing Board to educate the reputed document writers about the process of e-
Services. Sixteen Document Writers attended the workshop and the process of submission of online applications was explained/demonstrated on the live portal. Some journalists of reputed News Papers were also present when the live demonstration was going on.
The doubts/issues raised during the workshop were cleared by the officers of the Chandigarh Housing Board and NIC Chandigarh. Some very good suggestions were received during the interaction with the Document Writers and these will be incorporated in the e-Service module to further simplify the processes and to make it more user friendly, in next few days.
