- C. Chatterji Hall, Boys hostel no. 2 in association with Centre for Public Health, Panjab University, Chandigarh today i.e. on 07.06.2022 (Tuesday) organized a special medical awareness camp with a special lecture on “Mental health and role of Pranayam in stress management among the youth”. The camp was organized under the guidance of Dr. Moanoj Kumar, from Centre for Public Health and Dr. Tilak Raj, Warden, Boys Hostel No. 2. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Shivam Sharma lecture on “Role of Prayanam is Stress Management among youth, CPR and hand washing techniques” and Dr. Shivani Sharma also delivered a lecture on “Mental health and stress management among youth” An important talk regarding hand hygiene was also delivered to the mess/canteen workers. Dr. Bharti, Dr. Sanjay, Dr. Kunal, Dr. Pratisha and Dr. Navneet organize a medical camp to measure the hypertension and obesity among the hostel’s residents and staff.
All present were educated about the mental health and personal hygiene. Hand wash and Prayanam techniques were demonstrated. The Mess workers, cleaners and residents were also main targeted audience for the event.
