A meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Sh. Dharam Pal, Adviser to the Administrator to discuss the issues regarding pendency of applications (March month) beyond the prescribed time frame under Right to Service Act.

The Adviser has asked the all the concerned HoD’s to clear all the pendencies in the stipulated time period and deliver timely services to the public.

The Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs on 14th August 2017 had extended the Punjab Right to Service Act, 2011 and the Punjab Right to Service (Amended) Act, 2014 to the Union Territory of Chandigarh
to deliver public services to the people of UT of Chandigarh in a transparent, efficient and time bound manner.
