To celebrate the togetherness on occasion of baisakhi as part of Chandigarh Urban Festival .Chandigarh da tashan Apna shehar apna jashan a soul stirring play shahid Udham Singh Azad was staged by Theatre for theatre at Tagore Theatre Chandigarh in partnership with Department of Cultural Affairs Chandigarh and ACT Chandigarh on occasion of 75 years of Azadi ka amrit Mahotsav.
The chief guest of the evening was Mayor Chandigarh, Mrs Sarabjit kaur, Deputy Mayor Anuj Gupta ,other distinguished Dignitaries like Col JS Chandoak,Inderjit Singh Muktsaria and Sh Sudesh Sharma ji
The play was a built up event for grand finale of Chandigarh Urban Festival scheduled in October 2022 in partnership with Chandigarh Administration.The theatre artists were felicitated by the distinguished guests and students from carmel convent had a very interactive session with them. NCC cadets also joined. with theme of unlocking hope his year, CUF organisers urged every guest to join for cause of human bonding and celebrating life in Chandigarh.
