Chandigarh,March 31, 2022. The Department of Industries, Chandigarh Administration has collaborated with Punjab Engineering College to encourage young entrepreneurs and promote start-up culture in the Northern Region as the Official government partner of PEC’s E-Summit’22.
In the furtherance of the 100 years celebration, Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell of PEC has made an initiative to carry forward the institute’s legacy. PEC is organizing its first ever E-Summit scheduled on the 9 and 10th April, in an offline mode, in the institute premises. PEC will be the epicenter and E-Summit will be an event every start-up will look forward to.
PEC’s E-SUMMIT 22 with support and guidance from the Department of Industries aims to create a platform for startups, corporate, investors, students and budding entrepreneurship in the country. We aspire to be one of the best platforms in the north region to help and nurture the growth of the startups that are willing to be the industry leaders.
It is for the first time that opportunities will be provided for start-ups at every stage to gain funding through events like IGNITE- a pre incubation conclave, Funding Conclave- a platform for business owners to pitch their ideas and seek funding and StartUp Expo for market validation. Expert sessions will be organized that will help provide insights and guidance to the building entrepreneurs. Various Schools, Colleges and Investors from the region are being invited to witness the biggest event for startups that the tricity has ever seen. The summit includes various competitions for college students, workshops to upskill school students and various opportunities for all the startups across the region.
