Advanced Eye Center, Eye Research foundation and Glaucoma Support Group Organised a Glaucoma Walk

Advanced Eye Center, Eye Research foundation and Glaucoma Support Group Organised a Glaucoma Walk from Rick Garden to Sukhna Lake, to spread awareness about glaucoma in the public. The walk was flagged off by Deputy Director PGI Shri Kumar Gaurav Dhawan ji and Funancisk Advisor Shri Kumar Abhay ji in the presence of a number of eminent citizens of Chandigarh. About 150 people took part in the walk.
The walk concluded at Sukhna lake with a street play organised by the Chandigarh theater arts group led by its director shri Rajiv Mehta ji. The street play highlighted the the fact the glaucoma is mostly asymptomatic and can lead to irreversible blindness.
