The Department of Life Long Learning and Extension organized an online webinar to celebrate International Mother Language Day on 21.2.2022. About 20 Faculty Members, Students and Staff Members of Life Long Learning attended the webinar.
Dr. Parmjit Singh Kang, Chairperson, Department of Life Long Learning & Extension explained the importance of mother tongue. He informed the participants that National Education Policy, 2020 emphasized that Primary Education must be mother language of Children.
Dr. Kang led the oath and participant took the oath as prescribed by Department of Higher Education and Language Department, Punjab Government.
All corona protocols were observed by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
