The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India has inaugurated the 25th National Youth Festival by Virtual mode today. The Adviser to the Administrator, Home Secretary, Director Sports, Joint Director Sports, and Contingent incharge of Chandigarh Team attended the Virtual Ceremony. Around 250 members of the Chandigarh team participated in the event by Virtual Mode.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India and Director Education, Pudduchery has organised 25th National Youth Festival at Pudduchery from 12th to 16th January, 2022, but due to recent surge in the cases of ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, the Festival has been organised in Virtual mode on 12th & 13th January, 2022 instead.
In the morning session of the event three lectures were delivered on the subject i) Tech. Entrepreneurs and Innovation ii) Indigenous and Ancient wisdom iii) national Character, National Building and Home Grown. In the evening session, a recorded video capsule of Pudduchery Auroville, immersive city experience etc. was displayed along with live musical performance by an artist.
