Wanted in paper leak arrested from Delhi
Chandigarh, Dec 15 – The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police has arrested a most-wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs one lakh from Delhi in connection with the paper leak case.
Sharing the details, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that arrested accused identified as Robin of Sonipat district was the main gang leader of paper leak nexus.
The primary probe revealed that accused was involved in this malpractice since 2013 having a number of exam labs in many educational institutions in different states including Haryana (Sonipat, Gohana, Murthal IITM, SBIT Sonipat, Ganaur, Panipat, Samalkha Kurukshetra), Mohali (Punjab), Dehradun, Maharashtra, Jaipur (Rajasthan) and Uttar Pardesh.
He had operated his paper leak gang in a very managed form. They used to hire the computer labs of colleges/schools for paper and by hacking the computer, they used to pass the examination of thousands of candidates in various types of jobs and competitive examinations.
After the registration of a case in this connection, accused had been taken on remand by producing in the Court. Others involved in this racket would be arrested soon. Further thorough probe in case is underway.
