PGGCG 42 ‘S STUDENT HARNAAZ SANDHU WINS MISS UNIVERSE TITLE
PGGCG 42, Chandigarh’s student Harnaaz Sandhu has been crowned the Miss Universe yesterday.It is indeed a proud moment for the institution as she becomes 70th Miss Universe after a high volte competition among 80 contestants in a pageant. The former reigning Miss Universe, Andrea Meza of Mexico, crowned her successor. She has done her graduation in IT from the college and presently pursuing MA in Public Administration. Her achievements include Miss Fresh Face in 2017, Miss India World -2020 among Top 20 finalists, Miss India Universe, Times Fresh Face 2017 Miss Chandigarh-winner and Represented Chandigarh at National Level in Bombay, Miss Max Emerging Star 2018 , Finalist from Chandigarh in Miss Diva India 2018, Lead Role Heroin in Punjabi Featured Movie releasing this summer, Fabb Colours Femina Miss India Punjab 2019 and college has bestowed her Miss Diva title in 2019. Besides, she has won laurel in Mimicry and Skit competition in Youth Festival.The Principal of the college Prof. ( Dr. ) Nisha Aggarwal says it is her relentless efforts , dedication, zeal ,education and values she acquired over the years saw her through the tough challenge and she has made the entire country proud .. While addressing the students Prof. Aggarwal further said that they need to learn from her experience and imbibe her value system. She enthralled everyone in traditional displays of national costume and a series of interview questions that put college at the Global level.
