A person associated with real estate business must be nominated in the Municipal Corporation: Kamal Gupta
Chandigarh: A meeting of the Property Consultants Association, Chandigarh was held today under the leadership of the President of the Association Kamal Gupta, in which a demand of nominating a person from the property consultants in the Municipal Corporation was made to the Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Banwari Lal Purohit. It has been demanded so that the right forum can be found to raise the problems related to real estate area. He said that there is a need to implement the Apartment Act in Chandigarh, stop the collection of stamp duty for execution of GPA in blood relation and form a panel for the property needs of the local residents as per the directions of the Supreme Court and implementation of Right to Service Act in Estate Office, Housing Board and Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and issue of standard working instructions to the three offices regarding property matters etc. demands are pending.
The members of the organization said that till date no person associated with their profession has got representation in the municipal corporation, due to which this area has always been neglected. According to him, the Property Consultants Association is the representative body of most of the real estate businessmen of Chandigarh and its members sincerely wish the local public, which includes judges, lawyers, politicians, officials of administration and police to the general public, provides professional solutions to all problems for their residential and commercial purposes. Therefore, it is the need of the hour to nominate any person associated with this business in the corporation.
