Sudden demise of famous industrialist and Vice Chairman of CII Chandigarh Dr. Deepak Kansal
Chandigarh : Dr. Deepak Kansal, Vice Chairman of Chandigarh CII and CMD of XEAM Venture Pvt Ltd, a company related to outsourcing, passed away. He was 50 years old. He was admitted to the hospital recently due to complaint of dengue symptoms, his condition worsened due to fall in his platelets during treatment. Kansal left behind his parents, wife and a son and daughter.
With over 25 years of experience as the Chairman and Managing Director of XEAM Ventures, a multi-crore conglomerate flagship company, Dr. Kansal, apart from having expertise in human resource management services and IT enabled services, XEAM Ventures aims to create a leading company with global presence. Most of the e-governance gyms of the central and state government are being implemented by the team. The company is presently providing service posted on custom duty at 91 airports of the country.
In addition to this XEAM is a leader in HR Solutions, HR Outsourcing as well as HR Payroll. Dr. Kansal holded a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, a Doctorate of Research in Human Resources from Maharaja Agrasen University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management, Human Resources from Panjab University.
Dr. Kansal was elected Vice-Chairman of CII in this March and in the coming March was the chairman in waiting. Apart from this, Dr. Kansal was also a member of the Governing Body of Punjab Kala Bhavan, Patron, Indian Red Cross, Member, Indian Arbitration, Member, National Safety Council, Member, Punjab Rifle Shooting Association. The industry is deeply saddened by his death. During the second wave of Corona, his son and daughter (sister-brother duo) along with their college colleagues collected medicines, other items related to corona from people’s homes and delivered them to the homes of needy people. The last rites of Dr. Kansal have been kept on October 17 in ISKCON Sector 36 from 2 to 3 pm.
