Director PGIMER inaugurates Skill Lab and Advanced class room newly developed by Deptt. of General Surgery
In an attempt to upgrade the techniques of training the surgical residents and introducing novel and advanced technology into conventional teaching methods, PGIMER’s Department of General Surgery has developed the Skill lab and Advanced class room.
The Skill lab and Advanced class room were inaugurated by Director PGIMER Prof. Jagat Ram. He was accompanied by Prof. Gurpreet Singh, Head department, General Surgery, Sh. Kumar Gaurav Dhawan, Deputy Director of Administration of PGIMER, Prof. S.K.Gupta, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, Prof. Rajesh Gupta, Head of the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology.
The newly made procedure room will directly benefit the patients allowing them to undergo guided interventions and some vascular interventions more easily.
