Chandigarh, 20th July 2021:
The Chandigarh Administration has initiated an exercise of minimizing Regulatory Compliance Burden with the aim to simplify, Rationalize and Digitize the interfaces with Citizens/Industrialists/Licensees etc. The main objective is to decrease time cost burden and improve Ease of Living for citizens and Ease of Doing Business for Industrialists/Licensees etc.
The Excise & Taxation Department has already reduced many compliance Burdens
and it is continuously taking steps for minimizing requirement of physical touchpoints with Citizens/Industrialists/Licensees etc. and providing hassle free services.
In order to further make the interfaces simple, transparent and time bound, there is need to examine the existing Acts/Rules/Regulations etc.
Suggestions/comments, with regard to minimizing/reducing Regulatory Compliance Burden in the services of Excise & Taxation Department, are hereby solicited from General Public. The Suggestions/comments can be given through email at regulatorycomplianceexcise@gmail.com. The suggestions can also be sent by post at the following address by 06.08.2021.
