We are pleased to share that Deptt. of Plastic Surgery, PGIMER is
organising a special function to mark the observance of National Plastic
Surgery Day in India on 15th July 2021
Every year, 15th July is celebrated as the National Plastic Surgery Day in
India to commemorate the birthday of the sage Sushruta who is
acknowledged as the father of Plastic Surgery in India.
At the function, the Deptt. of Plastic Surgery would highlight the role played
by it in the service of the society.
As a success story, the Deptt. would also showcase the functional
rehabilitation of the ASI Harjeet Singh who underwent replantation of the
severed hand about a year ago
Prof. Jagat Ram, Director PGIMER has very kindly consented to grace
the function as the Chief Guest. The Director is also expected to make an
important announcement on this occasion.
Prof. R.K.Sharma, Head along with and Dr. Sunil Gaba, Addl. Prof .,
Deptt. of Plastic Surgery will detail about the key accomplishments of
the department.
