‘Together We Can Foundation’ felicitates PGIMER’s 22 COVID Heroes for their Selfless Work and Daunting Courage during the Pandemic of COVID 19

 

Chandigarh, July 10, 2021: Together We can Foundation, an Ambala based NGO known for their social commitment, felicitated 22 COVID Heroes of PGIMER for their selfless work and daunting courage during the unprecedented challenge of COVID-19 at a felicitation ceremony here at PGIMER today.

Ms Poonam Gupta, President of the Foundation presented certificates and mementoes to all 22 COVID Heroes as a token to acknowledge the commendable work and excellent management of COVID 19, thereby, saving many precious lives during this pandemic.

The COVID Heroes of PGIMER felicitated by the Foundation included Prof, Vipin Koushal, Sourav Dogra, Naresh Kumar, Gurinder Longia, Anil Kumar Narender Kumar Prarthi, Sampada Sharma, Amar Singh, Baljit Kaur, Yogesh Prasad, Vidya, Dr. Navdeep Bansal, Arvind Jindal, Arvinder Singh, Dr. Yadwinder Singh, Mohit Gautam, Gurpreet Singh Sethi, Meenakshi Vyas, Swati Thapa, Varinder Singh, Dr. Surinder Rana and Vinod Kumar. The  COVID Heroes shared their experiences and the struggle during hard times of the pandemic for saving lives.

Dwelling at length about her Foundation’s journey in social arena,  Ms Poonam Gupta said, “Honouring COVID  heroes is merely a small gesture. The relentless fight of Healthcare Workers against the pandemic cannot be described in words. Through this acknowledgement, we are trying to communicate that all of us are together in these challenging times.”

Prof. Vipin KoushalAddl. Medical Superintendent, PGIMER while sending a note of caution, said, “At this point of time when COVID cases are at an all-time low, we should not lower the guard and all of us need to strictly follow all COVID protocols. We must also ensure that we are vaccinated, as these are the only ways to beat the virus.”
