Chandigarh.22nd June,2021:The constituted committee consisting of SDM (South) Sh.Satish Jain, HCS, Area Deputy Superintendent of Police, Senior Medical Officer (Health), Drug Inspector (Health) examined the complaint made by one Sh. Kunal Soni against a city based Hospital, for overcharging of Covid-19 treatment of his father.
The committee found that a sum of Rs. 2,78,000/- was overcharged in the bill amounting of Rs. 3,69,000/- by the Hospital. It has found that the actual amount of the bill is Rs. 91000/- approximately. The committee directed to Hospital authorities to refund the said overcharged amount to the complainant within 3 days.
