World Blood Donor Day is celebrated every year on 14th June. Thalassaemic Charitable Trust (Regd.) is observing World Blood Donor day by organizing 3 blood donation camps on 12th and 14th June 2021.
219th and 220th Blood Donation Camps will be organised on 12th and 14th June 2021 respectively at Blood Donation Complex, Room No. 107, Advanced Trauma Center, PGIMER, Chandigarh from 9.30 am to 2:30 pm.
221st Blood Donation Camps will be organized on 14th June 2021 at Blood Bank, Govt. Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh from 9:00 am to 2:00pm.
All camps will be conducted under strict COVID19 guidelines and restrictions.
Sh. Rajinder Kalra, Member Secretary of the Trust appealed to regular and voluntary blood donors, NGOs, Groups to donate blood in this camp.
Thalassaemic Charitable Trust has successfully organised 34 Blood Donation Camps since June 2020 till 29th May 2021 with cooperation of esteemed voluntary blood donors and Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER during COVID19 lockdown period.
