St Anne’s was selected as the “Overall best among top three schools” in an online creative competition jointly organized by Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights and Yuvsatta, a non-profit promoting non-violence amongst children.
The competition was organized to commemorate the UN International Day of Families where children had to ponder and reflect on life during COVID times. The intent of the initiative was to boost the morale of students during stressful times of COVID. Children were invited to submit creatives in various categories including posters, gif animations, short mobile videos, short stories, comic poems, comic strips etc. More than 100 schools from across Chandigarh participated in the contest.
St Anne’s students across classes participated with great enthusiasm and won leading positions in multiple categories. School Principal Dr Sister Shyni Paul congratulated the students for winning another accolade for the school, further underlining the school’s core value of encouraging creativity in education.
