The members of the Mohali Senior Citizens Association have not only put in efforts to spread awareness about the COVID appropriate behaviour but have also provided PPE kits, masks, sanitizers et al, with no financial help from the general public or the administration, in this war against Covid.
On Monday, Mohali Senior Citizens Association President Swaran Chaudhary and Secretary Harinderpal Singh Harry presented 250 surgical gowns to Senior Medical Officer (SMO), Mohali H.S. Cheema. They also provided safety gear, soaps, sanitizers, and gloves to sanitary workers.

Mohali Senior Citizens Association President Swaran Chaudhary said that this second wave is graver than the first one. During this time, he got to know of the need for surgical gowns in the office of the civil surgeon. Immediately, the association bought these from a Ludhiana-based firm and handed them over to the SMO.
Mohali SMO H.S. Cheema says, “We are highly grateful to the Mohali Senior Citizens Association who have come forward to help. Such gestures are deeply encouraging.”
