Chandigarh.10th May,2021:Due to sudden spike in the number of cases regarding COVID concerns have been raised about the availability of Essential Commodities to the common man at fair prices. All the area Inspector Food and Supplies as well as Inspector Legal Metrology are directed to maintain vigil in their respective areas and start checking drives to monitor the issues relating to charging over and above MRP, black marketing,hoarding, exorbitant pricing etc. An Action Taken Report be submitted in the office.
