Unveiling of Coffee table Book by Adviser

Chandigarh.23 March,2021: Sh. Manoj Parida, IAS,Adviser to the Administrator,UT,Chandigarh today unveiled the coffee table book in the presence of Principal Home Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Director Public Relation and others officers of U.T. Administration .The coffee table book contains the works done, throughout the year starting from March 2020 till March 2021 by the team lead by Sh. Satish Kumar Jain, HCS, Sub Divisional Magistrate (South.) to fight against Covid -19 . The book starts with the war room meetings and then compiling all the activities like implementation of the lockdown, setting up of quarantine centers, shramik trains, food distribution, distribution of ration kits, shifting of mandi, testing at door steps, awareness campaigns, honoring the deserving and ending with vaccination. This coffee table book has been conceptualized by SDM (South) Sh. Satish Kumar Jain HCS, as it documents relentless efforts of U.T. Administration during 2020-2021 to fight back Corona Virus. The book also salutes the indomitable courage of all frontline warriors. Adviser Sh. Manoj Parida, IAS praised the efforts of the SDM (South), overall project coordinator Sh. Vikas Goel (IC-cum- SEM) and editor of the book Dr. Nidhi Rana who brought about the book.
