Chandigarh, Feb 19 – Director General of Police (DGP), Haryana, Sh. Manoj Yadava today launched ‘Integration of Pariwar Pehchan Patra (PPP) in Police Citizen services for eSaral’ and ‘Employee Corner in Citizen Service Portal’.

An event for the unveiling of these services was held at Police headquarters.

While applauding these new e-initiatives, the DGP said that Haryana Police has been constantly taking the e-route to ensure the delivery of such services to the maximum number of beneficiaries. He said that PPP is an e-governance initiative that will enable the citizens to get the benefit of various Central and State government schemes at their door-step in a fair and transparent manner.

Briefing about the services, ADGP Admin and IT, Sh. A.S. Chawla informed that with this integration of PPP, citizens now have the option to enter their Family ID in the field on HarSamay portal to avail the benefit of online services provided by the Haryana Police. After entering their Family ID in the eSaral service application form, the respective ID would be authenticated through a given mobile number with One Time Password (OTP). Applicant’s personal profile details are fetched from the Family ID database and displayed in citizen services.

“This feature helps applicants to avoid manual filling of their profile details (name, address, age etc.) as these details would be auto fetched and authenticated from PPP database and are valid and tamper proof”, he added.

Giving details about the launching of Employee Corner, Sh. Chawla said that now the employees of Haryana Police, at any time and irrespective of their place, can get important circulars, notifications and standing orders concerning administration, welfare benefits etc. online by just one click. The employees will not have to visit Police headquarters, district headquarters or their parent units for seeking such information. To make it easy, police officers and personnel may login using their unique NIC HRMS ID to access and view information.

DGP Crime Mohd. Akil, ADGP Modernization and Welfare, Sh Alok Kumar Roy, ADGP (Law and Order) Sh. N.S. Virk, ADGP CAW Smt. Kala Ramchandran and other senior officers were also present on this occasion.
