Chandigarh sunita shastri: The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust is inviting applications for K. C. Mahindra Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies Abroad from meritorious graduates interested in pursuing their post graduate studies abroad. Successful applicants can avail an interest free loan scholarship up to a maximum amount of Rs 4 lakh. Additionally, three scholars being recognised as K.C.Mahindra Fellows will be conferred scholarship up to Rs 8 lakh per schola
Who can apply? To be eligible, the candidate must be an Indian citizen possessing a First-Class degree or equivalent diploma of the same standard from a recognized university. The candidate must have secured admission or at least have applied for admission to a reputable university or institution abroad at the time of submission of the application form. The program abroad should be commencing between August 2021 & February 2022.
How to apply? The application form is available on the website www.kcmet.org . The deadline to apply for the scholarship will be 31st March 2021. Shortlisted students will be called for the final interviews which will be held in July 2021. At the time of the interview, the student should have secured admission into the institute.
The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust has been awarding these interest-free, loan scholarships to deserving students desiring to pursue post-graduate studies overseas in various fields, since 1956. In 2020, a total of 1,246 applications were received, and after a careful evaluation, 90 candidates were shortlisted to be interviewed by the selection committee comprising of 9 members.
