Chandigarh 09, February – A meeting of party social media officials was held under the chairmanship of in-charge of party affairs in Haryana, Mr. Vivek Bansal and Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Kumari Selja at the state Congress headquarters in Chandigarh today. “Join Congress Social Media Campaign” was launched on the occasion. Mr. Manoj Mehta, Haryana in-charge of Social Media Department was also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vivek Bansal said that through this campaign, the Congress Party aims to create 5 lakh social media warriors across the country. Under this campaign, in the modern era, youth will be made aware of the freedom struggle and glorious history besides highlighting the anti-people policies of the BJP government.
He said that the farmers of the country are agitating for their legitimate demands, but instead of listening to them, the arrogant BJP government is levelling unreasonable allegations on the farmers, which is not a good message for India’s clean and meaningful democracy. The Haryana in-charge said that today the farmers have been sitting on the borders of Delhi for more than two months for their rights against the black laws, but instead of finding a solution, the government has been adopting all tricks to suppress the movement. More than 200 farmers have lost their lives, but the government had no effect. He said that the Modi government has forgotten the public interest and is only concerned about the interests of some of its capitalist friends.
Kumari Selja said that today a campaign has been launched by the Congress Party called ‘Join Congress Social Media’ to raise the voice of the people. Under this campaign, young and talented people with the ideology of the Congress party will get an opportunity to join the Congress social media. She informed that through the campaign, the goal is to form a team of one thousand social media warriors from each Lok Sabha constituency. Under which at least 10 thousand warriors from all over Haryana will be linked with this campaign.
Kumari Selja said that this campaign is to strengthen the voice of the country. Through this campaign, such a platform will be provided to the youth of the country, so that they can raise their voice and expose the reality of this arrogant BJP government to the public.
She said that today whether it is about farmers, unemployment, women safety, or the issue of inflation, Haryana Congress under the leadership of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Rahul Gandhi has been raising with full power these issues among the public. The Congress party stands with the country and the people. BJP government is constantly trying to destroy the country and institutions of the democracy. Injustice, atrocities are increasing in the country and hate speeches are poisoning the society. Social media is a powerful medium for raising the voice against such an agenda and securing the future of India from a hateful, violent environment.
Kumari Selja said, “We all have a moral responsibility to raise the voice of every section of the country against such an arrogant and dictator government. Today the country needs non-violent warriors who fight for the truth and promote peace and harmony, who can defend the values and thoughts of the country.
