DGP Haryana first to get jab
Panchkula/Chandigarh, Feb 3 – The vaccination drive for Covid-19 of Haryana Police personnel will start tomorrow. Director General of Police (DGP) Haryana, Sh. Manoj Yadava voluntarily will be the first one to get the jab on the first day.
A Haryana Police spokesperson informed that DGP will inaugurate the vaccination drive at Police Headquarter, Sector-6, Panchkula.
Sh. Yadava will start the drive for front line workers by getting himself vaccinated at Police Headquarters at around 11 am on February 4. Thereafter, other police personnel will be vaccinated.
The spokesperson said that the entire police force had worked continuously on the front line when Covid-19 was at its peak.
“Besides maintaining law and order, each of our officers and jawans fearlessly ensured food to the poor and needy, safe home return of migrant workers and labourers and take care of the elderly. In Lockdown, the humane face of the police comes to fore and that is why police efforts were also consistently recognized at the national level”, he added.
