Chandigarh, Jan 24 – Haryana Police ASI Rajesh Kumar of Anti Human Trafficking Unit, who walked extra mile to help the missing children, was honoured for his remarkable commitment in a function held at Cuttack, Odisha.
He was felicitated by Former Director AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mahapatra.
So far, ASI Rajesh Kumar has helped over 500 children to return home across the country.
“I have full support from all of my senior officers in this noble cause. Even my family understands my work timings, responsibility and duty which helps me going ahead to help the needy”, added Kumar.
The function was organized by Sabitri Jana Seva, a social organization working in the health sector for the needy ones in the state of Odisha.
Other prominent present on this occasion included Sh. Manoj Jena, Core Member NHRC, Delhi, Sh. Asim Amitabh Dash, Member Odisha Human Rights Commission, Dr Rina Routray, Scientist and Environmentalist and Registrar AIIMS Bhubaneswar Dr Bidhu Bhusan Mishra.
