Chandigarh January 12, 2021: After the victory of all the BJP candidates in the election of Mayor, Senior Mayor and Deputy Mayor in Municipal Corporation, Bharatiya Janata Party President Arun Sood, party’s State General Secretaries Chandrasekhar and Rambir Bhatti, Mayor Ravikant Sharma, Senior Deputy Mayor Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu and Deputy Mayor Fermila Devi presented a courtesy call on Chandigarh Administrator VP Singh Badnaur. Administrator Badnaur congratulated the state president Sood and everyone else for this victory and also hoped that under his leadership, the work of development in the municipal corporation will be intensified.
During this courtesy interview, State President Arun Sood spoke in detail about various problems faced by the residents of the houses of the Housing Board and the residents of the village. He said that the people living in the houses of the Housing Board have to face many problems on the coming day. Realizing their problems, they should be able to resolve their legitimate demands and provide them relief and the problems they are facing with the notice given by the Housing Board should be resolved.
On various problems of the villages, he made the administrator aware that special funds should be released to speed up the development works in the villages, and the villagers are also very upset due to excess water bills. Therefore, they should be provided relief on these bills.
After listening to the delegation’s talk, Administrator V.P. Singh Badnore assured that they will soon discuss these problems with the administration and the officials of the Municipal Corporation and Housing Board and get them resolved soon.
