– Prime Minister misinforming the Nation about Acts not affecting their land, about MSP; Diverting attention from real issue by invoking “Opposition fooling farmers”.

– Milk production propelled by Govt aided Cooperatives, later Private sector harmed milk producers.

– 20 December to be observed as Shraddhanjali Diwas for 30 Martyrs.

– Grand march in support of farmers in Kolkatta, massive turnout.

– MP farmers protest state Agri Ministers abusive language, favour to seed company by burning his effigy.

– Tribals of Barwani continue protests against 3 laws.

– AIKSCC criticises immoral use of IRCTC data by PMO to divide movement.

AIKSCC has reacted to the Supreme Court order to say that SC advice to Govt is a moral victory for farmers. Farmers have always been ready to put forward their views, but the agitation in Delhi will continue until the 3 Acts and EB 2020 are withdrawn, even if a Committee is formed. Committee formation will be fruitful only after the laws are withdrawn and the representatives of all National and Regional Farmers’ Organizations are represented in a decisive manner and should therefore be done only after repeal of the Acts. Detailed comments will be given after reading the judgement.

AIKSCC has said the Prime Minister for reverting back to blaming farmers for being fooled by the opposition while it is he who is fooling them. He is repeating his earlier explanation that farmers won’t lose land, that MSP and govt procurement will continue, that the laws create opportunities for farmers, etc, even though his actions prove the opposite.

Yesterday the PM made a wrong claim that milk production has been promoted by non govt private sector, while it is the govt aided Cooperative sector which has helped Milk farmers and later entry of private sector stressed the milk sector. Two days ago the PM appealed to industry leaders to invest in agriculture. His ministers say that the govt Govt of India has set aside a fund of Rs 1 lac crore to help this Corporate investment. Modi’s document Putting Farmers’ First says that the laws ‘open up avenues for agribusiness’. It is the Corporate and MNCs who these laws and Modi govt is helping, not the farmers.

WG of AIKSCC has called for observing 20th Dec as “Paying Homage to Martyrs” (“Shraddhanjali Diwas”) from 11 am to 1 pm in each and every village in memory of the 30 fighters from Punjab and Haryana who have laid down their lives during this indefinite dharna from 26 November.

While the participation at Singhu and Tikri, at Shajahapur and Palwal is rising, a massive increase is expected Ghazipur tomorrow. More thana 1000 members of Ekta Parishad from Maharshtra will be reaching Palwal and 100 from Gujarat are scheduled to reach Shahjahapur today.

AIKSCC has strongly condemned the abusive language used by the MP agriculture minister Kamal Patel against leaders of the farmers’ movement. The govt was also forcing farmers in Satna to buy seeds of certain companies, failing which their crop would not be procured.
Yesterday an effigy of Patel was burnt at several places in Madhya Pradesh and the govt. was forced to retreat.
AIKSCC has welcomed the massive mobilization of tribals in Barwani by tribal peasant organizations in support of the demand for repealing of the 3 Farm Acts and EB 2020.

AIKSCC has strongly condemned the Govt’s action of mis-utilizing IRCTC data to selectively address Sikhs, trying to invoke sympathy for Modi and attempting to divide the farmers’ movement along religious lines. As Prime Minister of India this act is highly immoral.
