Chandigarh.28 October,2020: Today Special drive was conducted to spread awareness regarding measures to prevent the spread of COVID specially keeping in mind the upcoming festive season.
Special camp for free on the spot COVID testing was held at Kiran Cinema Market, Sector 22. Customers, shop owners, workers got the free test for COVID done. Administration, with the help of the Market Association of Sector 22 conducted awareness generation activities in the market. Public announcements explaining the importance of social distancing, were made by Traffic Police and DPR. Sanitizers were placed in front of each shop and masks were distributed. Deputy Commissioner Sh. Mandip Singh Brar,IAS and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Central) Ms. Nazuk Kumar, IAS were present for the event. Such awareness drives and testing camps will be regularly held at various markets across the city.
