Following the directives of DGP Haryana, Sh. Manoj Yadava, the Nuh District Police has achieved this unprecedented success under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Narendra Bijarania.

Chandigarh, Oct 7- The Haryana Police in Nuh district has succeeded in nabbing most wanted criminals this year. On the one hand it has cracked down heavily on drug traffickers, illegal weapon keepers, ATM thieves etc and on the other hand, despite Covid-19 pandemic, 50 wanted criminals, having rewards of upto Rs 90,000 on them, have been arrested and sent to jail till now during this year and to a large extent it has succeeded in making the district crime-free.

Following the directives of DGP Haryana, Sh. Manoj Yadava, the Nuh District Police has achieved this unprecedented success under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Narendra Bijarania. According to police spokesman, since January this year, not only the Nuh police have caught 46 criminals having reward on them, but have captured and handed over 4 criminals, who were most wanted in neighboring districts and states. Rewards were announced on them. Apart from this, Nuh District Police have been successful in nabbing drug peddlers and accused persons having illegal weapons and they were put behind bars. Such series of actions by Nuh District Police have sent a message to the criminals that they should either give up criminal activities or they will have to remain in prison.

Sharing statistics of the police actions, spokesperson said that the list of criminals arrested included criminals with rewards upto Rs 90000. He said that a criminal named Ahmed had 53 FIRs against registered against him at various places in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. He was declared most wanted by Bhiwadi and Bharatpur police in Rajasthan and Gautam Budh Nagar police in Uttar Pradesh besides the crime branch Panchkula. The police of these places was looking out for him and rewards carrying a sum of Rs 90,000 was announced for him.

Similarly, Police has been successful in catching criminals involved in theft of ATMs and stealing vehicles. He said that 32 cases of uprooting and taking away ATM machines and vehicle theft were registered against a criminal named Sajid, who was arrested by Nuh police. Similarly, criminals involved in ATM theft included Shyokat(15 FIRs), Sahib alias Sujja (15 FIRs), Farooq(8 FIRs), Tofik (11 FIRs), Imran ( 6 FIRs), Naresh alias Narsi ( 5 FIRs), another criminal named Farooq was wanted in 6 FIRs for ATM theft including a case in Neemach Cantt (MP). Jamshed was a wanted criminal in 9 FIRs registered against him in Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) and Rewari district of Haryana. Nuh District Police has succeeded in nabbing 9 criminals, wanted in cases of uprooting or stealing ATMs. Not only this, the Nuh police has also sent the most wanted criminal named Azad behind the bars. Nuh Police has also arrested Rafsan, a wanted criminal of Delhi Police, on whom 11 FIRs were registered in various cases. There are 16 FIRs against Sahid alias Polo, carrying a cash reward of Rs 50,000, has also been sent behind bars by the Nuh police. He said that 4 FIRs were lodged against Imran Devla and the Haryana police had kept a reward of Rs 25 thousand and Neemach (Madhya Pradesh) police had announced a reward of Rs 50 thousand for catching him and he too could not escape from the clutches of Nuh police.

He said that Nuh police has recovered 43 motorcycles, 2 cars, a bollero jeep and a truck since January this year. SP Nuh Narender Bijarania said that Nuh police has achieved this remarkable success due to the work of the dedication and dedication of its employees. Apart from this, lot of work has been done to make the district crime free.

The Spokesman said that during this period, arrests of wanted criminals have also been made in cases of drug traffickers, robbery, chain snatching, murder or attempt to murder. Since January this year, the Nuh police have arrested 58 accused in 55 cases of keeping illegal weapons, from whom a pistol, two magazine pistols, 56 country kattas, 73 alive cartridge, 42 empty shells and two khukri were recovered. In addition, 42 accused have been arrested in 24 cases pertaining to crimes under the NDPS Act. More than 1600 kg of marijuana, 1 lakh 92 thousand ML banned syrup, 26 thousand intoxicating pills and about two and a half kilos of heroine have been recovered from their possession . Not only this, under the Excise Act, Nuh police has arrested 106 accused involved in illegal smuggling and selling of liquor. Approximately 15750 bottles of country liquor, 24907 bottles of English liquor, 1016 bottles of beer, 206 liters of raw liquor, 10 thousand kg Lahan and two liquor-making furnaces were caught from them. He said that under the Gambling Act, 151 accused were arrested by filing 55 FIRs, from whom about Rs 4.61 lakh were seized.

The Nuh police have also arrested 273 proclaimed offenders and 263 bail jumpers during this period. A case has been registered against them under section 174A. A large number of these accused were absent from court for a long time.

The Spokesman said that even during the Corona transition, Nuh police, while working actively, seized 1999 vehicles, challaned 11570 vehicles and penalty money of about Rs 1.61 Crore was deposited in the state exchequer for violating instructions of the government.
