Dr. Ranjana Bhandari currently working as Assistant Professor (Temporary) at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarhhas received INTERNATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH ORGANIZATION (IBRO) funded Early Career Award-2020 amounting to 5000 Euro (5 lakhs) for her proposal entitled “Development of Brain-targeted therapeutics for Autism Spectrum Disorders”.
Through this project she would be undertaking research in the area of developing brain-targeted therapeutics for targeting neurodegeneration in regressive autism occurring in children. This technology would be eventually patented. Ranjana also has a registered start-up company under the name”AKB INNOVANT HEALTHCARE PVT. LTD” to her credit.
Dr. Ranjana completed her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Anurag Kuhad, Assistant Professor at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Dr.Jyoti K Paliwal, Director PhaEx Consulting, Gurgaon & Ex Director of Ranbaxy & CDRI, Lucknow.
