The Department of Community Education and Disability Studies Panjab University Chandigarh organized a National webinar in collaboration with Madras Dyslexia Association on MDA Avaz Reader- A dedicated App for Kids with Reading Difficulties on 3rd September,2020.
Ms. Harini Ramanujam, CEO, Madras Dyslexia Association and Ms. Mala R Natarajan, Special Educator, Madras Dyslexia Association were the Resource Persons. Dr. Dazy Zarabi, the Chairperson, said that there were 77 participants which included teachers, Special Educators, Research scholars and Students who were benefited by the deliberations made by the resource persons. She further said that the MDA organization which is a Non- Profit organization established to take a pragmatic approach to help children with Dyslexia. The remedial help and support to the children, their parents as well as spreading awareness to the community at large and helping schools to set up resource centers.
