Opportunities, Relevancy and Challenges.नई राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 एवं लोक प्रशासन: अवसर, प्रासंगिकता और चुनौतियां ।. In this webinar Dr. S.K. Kataria,Professor Department of Public Administration Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur (Rajasthan)was key note speaker. Professor Binu Dogra, Principal of college was Chief Guest of the Webinar. Webinar started with the introduction of theme by webinar director Dr. Nemi Chand, Assistant Professor in Public Administration followed by the welcome address to key note speaker and participants by Prof. Binu Dogra. Dr. Abha Sudharshan, Head of Public Administration introduces the keynote speaker and highlights the main provisions of New National Education Policy. Dr. S.K. Kataria explains in detail about the different aspects and provisions of New Education Policy. He said the draft of the New Education policy is very good and he was hopeful that this policy will bring a holistic change in the education scenario. Skill development, provisions of inclusiveness, quality concerns and online teaching are very important provisions. He also highlighted that present policy not mention the road map of implementation. Policy has provision of expanding 6% of GDP but unable to explain from where the government will mobilize this huge amount of financial resources. He analyzed Education Policy from a public administration point of view also he said that coordination, autonomy and regulation will be the big problem while implementing the policy. He suggested that citizens of India should develop national character for better implementation of policies. He ended his deliberation with hope, opportunity and understanding the challenges in Indian context. He answered all the questions raised by participants. 1250 participants registered for the webinar but 1000 participants attended this webinar through YouTube link. In the last Webinar director Dr.Nemi summarized the proceedings of the webinar and gave a vote of thanks.
