CAG felicitated during BIS’s 77th foundation day
Chandigarh, Citizens Awareness Group (CAG) was honoured by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), statutory body functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India during its 77th foundation day held at National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Sector 26, Chandigarh on Saturday. The award was received by CAG’s founder and its Chairman Surinder Verma from Deepak Agarwal Scientist-F/ Director & Head of Chandigarh Branch Office in the presence of Rajiv. P, Deputy Director General BIS (North), Saurabh Tiwari, Scientist-E/ Director & Head of Haryana Branch Office.
Verma had been working With Bureau of Indian Standards for the last 22 years with utmost dedication, devotion and sincerity and drove many consumer awareness campaigns in the region.
