AAP Congress Alliance are rattled and Scaring People after the decision of ownership rights in rehabilitation colonies are being given and decades old demand is met
There was a lot of speculation regarding the issue of ownership rights to residents of rehabilitation colonies after a statement of Deputy commissioner of Chandigarh & media reports. Reacting to those reports, statement of Deputy commissioner and allegations of Aam Admi party & Congress , state BJP President Arun Sood clarified that Deputy commissioner merely stated those facts which are already in public domain that no sale or purchase will be entertained after 18th of August 2023 to check the fraudulent sale purchase by dealers, merely name coming in the survey won’t ensure ownership, there needs to be more documents to be shown to claim the property, this survey is being done to asses the reality if occupancy, to know the actual status of colonies & no one will be displaced. There is no mention in the press note by the Deputy commissioner that after all the survey process is done & no one will get ownership rights, which is a natural course of action after the survey is completed.
Sood said a delegation of BJP comprising himself, Mayor, General Secretary organisation and two general Secretaries met the Admistrstor an evening prior to Advisory council meeting and demanded quick action to be taken in the ownership issue and grant of the same. The next day during the advisory council meeting,
Administrator Shri Banwari Lal Purohit clearly mentioned that after the survey, when ground status is known, whosoever pocesses valid documents & comes out in the survey that person is owns the property will get the ownership rights, there is no ambiguity in that. After the meeting, in a joint press conference, Advisor to administrator and Mayor again clarified about the matter and clearly stated that no one will be displaced during and after the survey and ownership rights will be granted after due process of law.
While attacking AAP and Congress Allies, Sood said aap leader Prem Garg & Congress leader HS Lucky were first to claim credit after the advisory council meeting ,when it was known that ownership rights are being Granted in rehabilitation colonies, Lucky said it’s due to his efforts & Prem Garg claimed it was he who wrote the letter to Administrator demanding the same. These leaders have old habits of claiming credit for everything good, in fact once this was known that Govt will give ownership rights these people are trying to create every kind of hurdle in the process so that people are kept away from their rights. First they tried to stop the survey, instigated people against the administration and now spreading fake propaganda regarding the issue. AAP and Congress are actually scared that the decades old problem of people is getting solved and people from all walks of life are joining and supporting BJP, that’s why they are scaring people by spreading fake propaganda and people will teach these opportunists a lesson in the coming elections.
Arun Sood reiterated & assured occupants that BJP is committed and will ensure that every right full owner gets ownership rights in the colonies. He advised people not to trust any misinformation campaigns and co-operate with the administration for a successful survey.
