Laureate Faculty of Oral Health Sciences Centre Shines Bright at National conference
Faculty of Unit of Orthodontics, Oral Health sciences center, PGIMER performed excellently in the national Conference of Indian Orthodontic Society held at Meerut on 14-17th Sep 2023. Faculty conducted Pre-conference course on “3D Digital planning of Orthognathic Surgery” under the leadership of Prof. Dr S P Singh. Dr Sanjeev Verma, Associate Professor, elected as Executive Committee Member of the Indian Orthodontic Society. Dr Raj Kumar Verma, Associate Professor presented competitive scientific paper presentation in the Research category on “3D measurement of palatal volume on Digital Models of patients with Cleft deformity” and was awarded Best paper. PGIMER is the tertiary referral center for comprehensive management of patients with cleft & craniofacial deformities. The research will further help in better orthodontic management of patients with cleft deformity. Dr Vinay Kumar, Associate Professor won second prize in competitive scientific paper presentation in the Clinical category
Faculty of Unit of Prosthetics, Oral Health sciences center, PGIMER performed excellently in the International Conference on Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology held at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai, India on 8th – 10th September, 2023. Dr. Bhavita Wadhwa, Assistant Professor presented competitive scientific paper presentation on “Digital Versus Conventional Maxillofacial Prosthetics – A Journey Into Future” and was awarded the Best Faculty Paper.
