PGIMER, Chandigarh celebrates Chandaryan-3 Mahotsav
‘APPLAUDING INDIA’S LUNAR STRIDE’
PGIMER hosted one day event to celebrate the boundless success of Chandrayaan-3 Mahotsav on 4th September, 2023 at 3:00PM in LT-1, Nehru Hospital.
This event was inaugurated by Prof. Naresh K Panda, Dean(Academics), PGIMER. Speaking on the occasion Dr Panda said that History was created by our nation as first nation to land Chandrayan-3 on south pole of the Moon on 23 Aug 2023 . It was result of sheer dedication and determination of our scientists, said Dr Panda.
Earlier, Sh Ummed Mathur, Registrer, PGIMER, welcomed the audience and introduced the history of space missions and achievements of India. Sh Mathur said, “Our ancient literature & culture has mentioned many astrological events and their significance to mankind.
The screening of Video on landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon surface and Honourable Prime Minister’s address to nation received a huge round of applouse from the audience. The event was showcase India’s achievements in Space science & technological Advancements.
The selfie pont and rangoli created by the students was attraction of the event. The students of National Institute of Nursing Education and National Institute of Paramedical Science participated in the slogan writing competition. The event was witnessed by more than 250 audience including Faculty members, staff, students of NINE and NIPS.
