City Professor gets recognised for his relentless contribution
Dr Sudhir Hindwan, senior academician , a Professor and an expert on strategic affairs has been chosen for Asian Admirable Achievers Award 2023 for recognition of his tremendous academic contribution over the year and publication of his bibliography in a prestigious volume . He will be also conferred Rashtriya Gaurav Award 2023 for his relentless zeal and drive for contribution both through his writings on issues concerning international politics , strategic affairs and organising myriad programmes on various contemporary issues related to national and international communities. Besides, he has been also chosen for a ResearchPaper Presentation in a World Conference to be held at Utrecht ,Netherlands during 3rd week of October 2023.The selection of his Research Paper Presentation on Education: Opportunities and Challenges has been an outcome of a closed blind review process. A recipient of “Bharat Gaurav” Award , (in the field of academics and research) Prof. Hindwan has more than 176 publications to his credit. Author of “Encountering Terrorism” and “Caste Violence”, he has received numerous travel grants/ fellowships to present research papers in many international conferences held at the University of Denmark, Belgium, London, Sydney, Australia, Japan and Thailand,etc. He is also been working as the Convener of Peace Theory and Peace History Commissions of International Peace Research Association ,Belgium since 2010.He has an outstanding track record in teaching /supervising Postgraduates and PhD research scholars ( JRF & SRF ) and completing many policy research oriented projects from leading academic agencies such as CPR-ICSSR,UGC,etc. Prof. Hindwan has also being Interviewed by national and international media : Times of India, Delhi, Los Angeles Times , Irish Times , Asia News , etc.) during his half decade stint with leading think tanks during mid 90s . As a columnist he has extensively published numerous (more than 100 Edit-op-ed ) lead articles in the Hindu, the Hindustan Times, Financial Express, Economic Times ,Indian Express ,The Times of India, the Observer of Business and Politics, Deccan Herald and The Pioneer over the years. These recognitions would drive such academicians to make more contribution and taking the standard of academic to pinnacle.
