UIFT & VD STUDENT BAGS INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS
Manisha Dhiman, a young entrepreneur owning “KALAKARI”, and an alumnus of UIFT & VD along with her business partner Manik have won India book of Records. KALAKARI, the artistic duo, have won this award for their awe-inspiring achievement in the realm of quilling art. Their incredible talent and dedication have led them to create an astonishing total of 741 exquisite earrings using the unique and intricate quilling technique.
Receiving this award, Manisha and Manik of KALAKARI remarked “Our journey in the world of quilling art has been immensely fulfilling, and we are grateful to University Institution of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development, Panjab University, Chandigarh for providing us with many opportunities to display and showcase our artistic endeavors.
