ADC Bilaspur Praises Media’s Vital Role in Service Delivery at Vartalap Event

Press Information Bureau, under the aegis of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, organised a Vartalap event in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, today. The event underscored the significance of transparent and efficient communication channels in bridging the gap between the administration and the public.
As the chief guest of the event, Dr. Nidhi Patel, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Bilaspur, shared her expertise and insights with the attendees. She emphasized the vital role of the media as a powerful tool in disseminating information and enabling the administration to deliver services effectively. Dr. Patel recognized the media’s contribution in facilitating transparent communication and fostering public awareness. Dr. Nidhi Patel, ADC Bilaspur, stated, “Media aids the administration in the effective delivery of services to the people, and its role in fostering transparent communication and public awareness cannot be underestimated.”
The event also saw Shri Vivek Vaibhav, Director of CBC Chandigarh, who provided mediapersons with insights into the organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. His comprehensive briefing shed light on the various initiatives undertaken by the government to enhance public awareness through effective communication channels.

Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi, Deputy Director of CBC Chandigarh, gave an insightful presentation on prominent government schemes. With her expertise and knowledge, she shed light on the impactful initiatives implemented by the government. Her engaging delivery and comprehensive understanding of the schemes left the attendees inspired and informed about the measures undertaken to improve the lives of the people.

Likewise, Shri Jaipal, Coordinator, Bilaspur, delivered a keynote address on government schemes in the health sector, enlightening the audience about initiatives focused on enhancing healthcare services and accessibility.
The collaborative efforts of the Bilaspur administration, PIB Chandigarh, and CBC Chandigarh ensured the seamless execution of this interactive discussion, strengthening communication and public awareness in the region.
