ARD’s Annual Sports Meet Gladius inaugurated amid loud cheer
Inauguration of the annual sports fest of PGIMER Gladius Edition 2.0 was done successfully today in Zakir Hall in the Presence of Director PGI Prof Vivek Lal, Dean Academics Prof Naresh Kumar Panda, Deputy Director Shri Kumar Gaurav Dhawan, Medical Superintendent Prof. Vipin Kumar Kaushal, financial advisor Shri Kumar Abhay, prof Sandeep Bansal sir, ARD president Dr. Naveen, organising secretary Dr. Manoj Kumar, co organizing secretary Dr. Vipendra Rajpoot.
The most awaited event of the year was kick-started by a match of badminton between DPGI Prof Vivek Lal and Dean Academics Prof Naresh Kumar Panda. More than 1000 resident doctors are participating in this fest. On the very first day matches of street cricket, volleyball, basketball, Futsal, badminton, carom, and chess were organised. Fest will continue till the end of this week, which will help to build physical health and improve mental health of tirelessly working resident doctors and faculty of PGIMER.
