Under Rozgar Mela, PM to distribute about 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in Government departments and organisations on 13th April
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will launch 4th “Rozgar Mela”- the recruitment drive for about 71000 personnel on 13th April at 10.30 AM via video conferencing in centers located all over the country. One such mega event is being held at Patiala Locomotive Works , Patiala at PLW Auditorium. During the ceremony, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute about 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits. Prime Minister will also address these appointee on the occasion.
The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfillment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.
The new recruits, selected from across the country, will join various positions/posts under Government of India. During the function at Patiala Locomotive Works, Patiala the newly appointees for the posts of Assistant Engineer, Assistant Student Counselor, Assistant Registrar, JE, Junior Account Assistant , Sr Clerk, DMS, Jr. Clerk, Technician-III (DSL) Mechanical, Sr Time Keeper, Officer Scale 2 & Officer Scale 3 etc will get appointment letters from Hon’ble Prime Minister through video conferencing.
The newly inducted appointees will also get an opportunity to train themselves through Kamayogi Prarambh, which is an online orientation course for all new appointees in various Government Departments.
