Assembly -cum-orientation programme held at Post Graduate Government College, Sector – 46, Chandigarh

An assembly-cum-orientation programme was organised at the Post Graduate Government College, Sector -46, Chandigarh to welcome the first year students of BA/BCOM/BBA/BCA/MCOM. Dr. Abha Sudarshan, Principal, welcomed the students and encouraged them to be responsible citizens. She shared valuable ideas regarding the education system and its effectiveness in order to face the day to day challenges. She asked the students to make the optimum use of available resources. She wished them a stress free, healthy, knowledgeable and a successful stay in the college.The Assembly was organized to orient the students about various activities and programmes that are organised in the college during an academic session. Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dean and Dr. Dr. Baljit Singh, Vice – Principal, apprised the students about the college rules and regulations, attendance, examination, hostel facility, library, fee concession, scholarships, various societies, etc.
