Ms. Alisha Lalhall working as a Ph.D Student under the supervision of Dr. Nishima, UIET has been awarded 2nd prize in a poster presentation titled “Development of a Fluorescent Nanoprobe based Biosensor for the Sensing of Heavy Metals” at an International Workshop on Recent Trends in Functional Nanomaterials for Technological Applications orgainsed by Amity University. Interestingly, she has bagged two more prizes this year for her research work on Ultrasensitive Detection of analytes.
Received 1st place in the E-short presentation in nanotechnology & drug delivery session for presenting work titled ” Quantum dots based Aptasensor for the Ultrasensitive Detection of Heavy Metals” at the International Conference on Advances in Biosciences and Biotechnology (ICABB’22) on “Innovations in Life Sciences and Computational Biology” which was held at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida from January 20-22, 2022.
Awarded “Poster Award” for work entitled “Potent Antimicrobial Applications of Peptide Conjugate Silver Nanoparticles” in the International e-Conference on Nanomaterials & Nanoengineering (APA Nanoforum 2022) organized by APA & CSIR-NPL (February 24-26, 2022).
Awarded “Second position” for poster presentation entitled “Development of a Fluorescent Nanoprobe based Biosensor for the Sensing of Heavy Metals” at the International Workshop on Recent Trends in Functional Nanomaterials for technological applications held on August 2-3, 2022.
She received her M.Tech in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CNSNT), Panjab University, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CNSNT) and Applied Sciences, UIET, Panjab University, under the supervision of Dr.Nishima. She has numerous peer-reviewed publications in international journals.
