The Health Department Chandigarh celebrated the *World Environment Day * with ‘ONLY ONE EARTH’ as the theme by organising a Plantation drive , Cycle Rally and a Yoga session for the participants.
The Cycle rally was flagged off by Dr Suman Singh, Director Health Services in the presence of Dr VK Nagpal Medical Superintedent, Dr Parmjit Singh and other senior officials of the Health Department.
The day started with the plantation of 50 Herbal trees followed by the Cycle rally in which around 150 participants took part including the doctors, Nursing officers , security officers, Ward attendants and Safai Karamchari’s .
At the end of the rally a Special Session of Yoga was held to promote Yoga for mental and physical well-being.
